Fresh Start 7-Day Cleanse =Results!

S-o-o… I did the Fresh Start 7-day cleanse and ta-dah! –feeling absolutely refreshed and reset!  It’s such a good feeling to be relieved of stored up toxins that clog the system and weigh one down after FSVeggieswBasila while –and all of that simply from living a normal, everyday life in our modern-day world!

Kept a huge quantity of raw veggies and fruits of every variety within reach during the week and stuffed raw treats for the day into hubby’s lunch for break times at work; drank half my weight in water per day, and got plenty of extra sleep -allowing the excellent cleansing supplements like Shaklee’s signature Alfalfa and gentle Herb-lax, to aid the body in performing it’s best healing work.

And voila!  Although I didn’t have a weight-loss goal per se, I lost about two pounds and about 7 inches – in just the right places – and flattened my tummy too!  Hubby is a Slim Jim, but he was able to take 5″ off of that awkward “spare tire” that he so despises.  (Oh happy day!) Also, maybe it’s just the area we live in, but I’ve noticed having a stuffy nose every night after getting into bed previously, but with the cleanse I’ve felt my sinuses drain and head clearing, as well as just an overall euphoria of well being!

Now in the follow-up weeks, for dinner instead of loading up on heavy cooked starches, potatoes  etc. or salty, sauce -laden side dishes, we’re perfectly content to chow down on “the Big Salad” laced with exotic fruit or chunks of avocado or – or just let your imagination go! — and add a generous serving of lean poultry or fish.    No gas, indigestion or bloating during the evening or still sitting on your stomach at bedtime to rob you of a restful night’s sleep!
